Peter is a successful entrepreneur who lives life to the fullest and is an extreme sports and outdoor enthusiast. He has his scuba diving license, fixed wing and helicopter licenses, and has been paragliding for 8 years. He also has a black belt in karate and has represented South Africa in Japan at the world karate championships. In addition, he has represented South Africa in the USA at the world wind surfing championship. Peter studied psychology at UPE and UNISA and holds a diploma in Aviation Law from the University of Johannesburg.
He started his business life as a project manager at JH Isaacs. He went on to owning and managing an aviation charter company based at Grand Central Airport and Mbuji Mayi in DRC. He established a leading youth media and branding company in SA which he sold in 2004. He looked after brands such as Nokia, MTN, Cell C, Blue Label, Ster Kinekor, ABSA and SAB. In 1994 he established the only privately-owned aviation fuel supply company which he sold after 21 years of successful business. He is the Founder of Sum More and other enterprises. He now divides his energy between implementing new business models and humanitarian work. Creating the 8 Summits Foundation is a way to channel the humanitarian projects to help make the world a better place.
