The 4th Industrial Revolution has given birth to new, and seemingly complex ways in which technology can and has integrated itself into our daily lives. Thanks to the rapid computing technology and power of the 3rd IR; societies have a much faster and engaging way of collecting, sharing, communicating and controlling information. However, how prepared are we for the revolution and what are we still to do to bridge the gaps? Does the 4th industrial revolution even makes sense for Africa or are we skipping stages. ie Robotics before running electricity? IoT in farms before Wifi in homes?
